You're taking a real step toward finding your pet the care they deserve. Before we begin, here's what to expect — how our matching works, what the clinical trial process looks like, and how we handle fees.
We search across 100 active trials at 25 universities and veterinary colleges — work that would take you 20–40 hours — in seconds.
We search across 100 active clinical trials at 25 universities and veterinary colleges to find the ones your pet may qualify for. Our matching considers your pet's species, breed, age, diagnosis, location, and your travel preferences.
When we find trials that fit, we connect you directly with each research team — no gatekeepers, no waiting lists. You'll receive a clear summary of every matching trial so you can review your options and decide what's right for your pet at your own pace.
The $7 covers the cost of running the search, regardless of outcome. If no trials match, you won't be charged the $23 application fee.
Want to know more about how matching works? See the full breakdown →Clinical trials require a formal diagnosis for your pet — typically a written report from a veterinary laboratory provided by your primary care veterinarian. This helps research teams confirm eligibility quickly and get your pet into consideration sooner.
If you don't have a diagnosis report yet, that's okay. You're welcome to start the process now and gather documentation as you go. You won't need to submit anything until after your matches are found and you've decided to move forward.
What exactly is a full diagnosis, and how do I get one? →Clinical trials vary in how they handle costs. Some are fully funded — meaning treatment, diagnostics, and follow-up care are covered at no cost to you. Others are partially funded, and some may involve out-of-pocket expenses.
Every match we send includes clear funding details so you can make the decision that's right for your pet and your family. You are never obligated to join any trial — you can review everything first and ask as many questions as you need before committing to anything.
Want a detailed breakdown of how trial funding works? See the full funding guide →You only pay the $23 application fee if you find trials you'd like to apply to — it is never charged automatically.
The first stage is a $7 search fee. This covers our matching process across all 100active trials — research that would typically take a pet owner 20–40 hours to do manually. We do it in seconds.
If we find matching trials, the $23 application fee covers aggregating all required information, formatting it into a complete professional application, submitting it directly to every matched research team on your behalf, and handling the initial correspondence — so the right information reaches the right people immediately. The research team then makes their own eligibility determination and will contact you directly.
If no trials match, you will not be charged the $23 application fee.
